Player Meta Knowledge:
Mag na Mell is the entire known world of The Wylder (at the moment), featuring everything above. It is an area that is connected to and thereby influenced mostly by Irish, Eastern European, North African, and North American hotspots.

There are other Realms connected to other cultural hotspots and enough within sailable distance that pretty much anything could be accounted for.
In general traveling by water is a much more dangerous affair in The Wylder than it is in our world, so travel between Realms is very rare.
The Wylder expands the more humans it has to feed from, so there are an almost unlimited number of lands to be found within, Mag Na Mell being just one with this specific set of connections and influences.
All this to say if you want to play a character/creature influenced by a culture not in the Irish/European/NA zone we can work together and make that happen.
General Overview
The majority of beings in this realm are composed of two main factions; Fomorians (Monsters), and Toys. There are dozens of layers and subcultures within those two; (think Horde/Alliance in Warcraft)
Overall though, The Wylder is comprised of the following classes of beings:
Fay
Ancient race of beings who built the first civilizations, died out and are very rare, mostly considered legends. Thought of the way we think of fairies, (mischievous, powerful, etc.)
True Gods
Also known as ‘Progenitors’, the two most well known at this point are the Fomorian God (The Breaker) and Toy God (The Maker), (info to be given in personal character supplement). These beings are of a level that feels almost alien to this world, such is the immensity of their power.
Wylder Gods
Incredibly powerful beings that are often worshipped instead of the mainline religions. Not unkillable, but very strong.
Folk
Toys and ‘cultured’ Monsters
Subcategory for Fomorians: Ferals
There’s a wide range within the category of ‘Monster’, (from dust mites to Dracula himself), the lessor’ monsters are considered Ferals. Redcaps, will o wisps, things that seem more primal/animalistic than cultured.)
Beasts
Animals and creatures native to The Wylder, your typical fantasy animal fare.
