Artist Notes 9/17/2020: Hey guys, happy Wednesday! ^ ^’ Sorry to be a day late with the page again. :< But I hope you all are doing well this week!

It occurred to me this week that if this were any other year we’d be at Granite Con this weekend, and that’s kind of a bummer to think about. In a way, I’m glad it’s not happening this year (not just because that’s the safe and smart thing to do), but because of our move I doubt we would have been able to make it this year, so I’m partly glad that I’m not missing out on the good times. But it does make me sad too, I miss going to conventions and meeting everyone, and I miss Granite Con in particular as it’s the convention we’ve been attending the longest. I really hope next year we’ll be able to fly back at least to attend if not to have a table.

In fact, this week a year ago would have marked the middle of my convention marathon tabling at conventions 3 consecutive weekends! I’m not sure if I’d ever set my convention schedule like that again, because it was truly exhausting but it was so rewarding!

Here’s to hoping conventions are back next year!
