Artist Notes 11/26/2020: Hey guys! Happy Wednesday… and early Happy Thanksgiving for those that celebrate!

Sorry this page is late again, that’s actually partly because of the holiday (had to move stuff that would normally be today to Monday so that bit into my drawing time pretty badly) but also for the same reason as last week, I feel like I just have so much more to figure out about this scene than I usually would. In any event though: It’s Rictus!

I literally had to think about whether or not it was a spoiler to include his name, but I realized we put it in the back of the book, annnd in an Instagram post, so that cat has been out of the bag for a while! XD But it’s literally been 243 pages since we’ve seen his face in the comic… (And yet somehow it took me until 3 weeks ago to start thinking ‘what DOES his face look like under the mask???’) ^ ^’

Anyway, I feel the need to end on an a sappy note: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m deeply thankful for you all! Thanks for sticking with me, especially as I become a little more unpredictable (thanks pandemic!) about updates (trying to get that back under control)… But really, I know every landmark page I say this, but you all really are wonderful, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have you guys on this journey with me.
